Lastly the delegating leaders does not lead to much of anything because he trusts his group or followers to be responsible enough to handle duties. Leadership is developed in only a couple of ways. Now there has always been a continuous argument about if a leader is actually born or made.A lot of people believe only a leader can be born, while other believe a leader has to be taught to lea d. But in reality, one is either born a leader or taught to be a leader. Leadership can be developed as a child while being raised. For example, a child that has a lot of younger siblings is a born leader because he or she has been leading around those sibling for a long time. Also if I child is born into a military home many of those children are natural leaders just because of where they were raised. Though not everyone is born a leader, leadership can still be taught.Therefor leaders can be made. For example, a shy teenager goes into the military. The military will make him into a drill sergeant or company commander. A leader was just made by the military. Another example of a leader being made is people go to law school and graduate leaders every year. You cannot be a lawyer if you were to shy away from a case. No, a lawyer must lead his client through though trials and arraignments through a winning case. Both military people and lawyers of all sorts go to school and learn how to be leaders as well as earn spots to a higher leading position.

Editorial Cartoon Project Essays - Shooting Of Trayvon Martin Cooper Casamento Mr. Carter English 10 Honors, Period 6 14 February 2016 Editorial Cartoon Project Cartoon 1 This political cartoon is about the issue of police brutality in America, and this cartoon is specifically focused on the event of George Zimmerman shooting and killing Trayvon Martin. At the time of this incident, George Zimmerman was a police officer, and Trayvon Martin was an African-American child who was 17 years old. The cartoonist's opinion of this whole issue is that George Zimmerman got off empty-handed, and he shows this by putting a picture of George Zimmerman flying out of a cage on the "Get Out of Jail Free" card from the board game Monopoly. The cartoonist also uses labeling, by putting labels on the tea and the Skittles. He does this because that is what Trayvon Martin was carrying when he was shot coming back from the store. The cage that Zimmerman is flying out of represents jail, and Zimmerman is just flying out of it because he really did get out of jail free. There is also a hole in the middle of Martin's sweatshirt, representing where Zimmerman shot him. This car toon was not very persuasive to me, because I already share the same view point as the cartoonist: Zimmerman was not innocent and he did not deserve to get out of jail that easily. Cartoon 2 This political cartoon focuses on the issues of both college debt, and the large amounts of homework for students in grades lower than college, but it is mainly focused on the issue of college debt. The cartoonist believes college debt is outrageous, and that is why he is writing this cartoon. He is writing this cartoon because he wants something done about this issue, because college debt leaves most former students in debt for many years after they graduate. The cartoonist uses the large backpack on the man labeled college to represent the large amount of debt many college graduates have after they graduate, and he uses the large backpack on the younger kid to show how they are just "in training." The cartoonist obviously exaggerated the size of the backpack, but he did it to show how large the amount of debt really is and how the debt can hold someone down. The cartoonist used labeling to show how the college student is being held down by the debt. The cartoonist is most likely tr ying to aim this cartoon at important people who can change the amount of money it takes to go to college.

Constitution Discussion Example Constitution Discussion – Book Report/Review Example Athens and Sparta have similarities and differences in their Constitution which became a basis of our democracy today. One of the similarities of the two that is present today in our Constitution is the idea of check and balance where there is no central omnipotent authority. The Spartans have two kings to have checks and balance with five Ephors. Athens on the other hand has all sort of people in their democracy from aristocrats to commoners. They are represented through a democracy where people were men were grouped into a boule of 400 men which forms part of legislation assembly who would recommend their crafted laws to Solon. Solon distrusted the aristocracy because they do not best represent the people hence is the Athenian assembly. Of the two systems, I believe that the Athenian democracy better than the oligarchic constitution of Sparta. Athenian democracy is better because it has representation from the common people where they have a voice in the government. In the Spartan oligarchy, commoners have no say in the government and the affairs of the state is restricted to the two kings and his Ephors, which is why oligarchy is associated with the rule of the few. This is also in reply to the post which contended that Spartan oligarchy is better than Athenian democracy. It forgot to mention that the aristocratic nature of representation was reformed by Solon because he distrusted the Areopagus and its aristocrat members. Instead he created the boules which are a council of 400 men to form an assembly or congress. Checks and balance is better this way than an oligarchy that is only composed of two kings and his Ephors where the people had no represetation.

In general a consistent design is have, (1) internal interface design consistency and (2) external consistency of interface features with features of other interfaces familiar to the users. Users can obtain convenient, less expensive and versatile products by consistent designs. Example: the training time is 100% to 300% less compared to the random user interface design. Nevertheless some researchers advocate that diverting primary focus from users and their needs into consistency, as narrowing the spectrum of software engineering (Grudin, 1989). Haptic Technology MacLean, 2000, defines â€Å"haptic feedback† as the â€Å"computer control over the tactile or kinesthetic properties of a physical interface, permitting realtime representation of a changing virtual or remote environment rather than a specific, constant handle† (p. 2). In general, haptic feedback is a mechanical response created by the haptic interface in terms of a special vibration sensation. Conventional vibration alerting differs from the haptic feedback as the latter involves advanced vibration patterns and waveforms that convey rather informative messages from a dynamic virtual environment to users. Human brain comprises of various visual, audible, smell, taste and haptic sensory neurons that are stimulated when an objects contact with the respective sensory channel. Sensory receptors located in the human body such as; muscles, tendons, joints and skin in the hands are important for human performances equally to hearing and visual sensing (Torre, 2006). Characteristics of the human brain have largely shaped the designing of modern human-computer interfaces. Apollo is playing the kithara or the lyre in between the two. The lyre seems to be an award for musical competition. The artwork was made in Athens between 530-520 BC (Chrysler Museum Website). The arts are a result of Greek myths. The artworks are categorized under the Terracota Gift of the Mowbray Arch Society 2003. They are in the 18th floor room a & b. The art shows Hermes, who is also referred to as the messenger god having some wings attached to his shins. At the left, there is Dionysus seated, who is the fertility god. He also serves as the wine god. He has been saved as an infant by Hermes (Chrysler Museum Website). The other side of the arrangement is the Athenian hero known as Theseus. The hero is locked in a mortal combat with Minotaur. Minotaur is a beast that has the body of a human being, but the head of a bull. He looks very scary and monstrous. In addition, there are two maidens that are looking at Theseus. They are keen on what Theseus is doing: he is decapitating blood spurts and Minotaur from the neck of Minotaur. According to the existing Greek legend, Theseus, who is a son to King of Athens, Aegeus, had volunteered to be among the seven young me and maidens that were annually sent to the city of Athens to be used as Crete’s tribute and were to be sacrificed to the Minotaur. Theseus, instead of becoming a victim, killed the beast and ended up rescuing all his companions. The artist of the mentioned artworks applied Lysippides’ painter manner. The overall dimensions of the figures are 16.5 inch, which is an equivalent of 41.9 centimeters. The object number of the arts is 2003.18. The art gallery is 114 (Chrysler Museum Website). I chose the above artwork due to the thrilling and mythical story behind it. I am familiar with the story and choosing this artwork would actually provide me with more detailed information about it than what I already knew. Minos, the King hated the Athenians because they killed his son. In order to revenge, he ordered the sending of the Athenian youths to Crete to feed the Minotaur – the half bull and half man. He used to live in the labyrinth under the King’s palace. King Aegeus was very angry and sworn that he would go by himself and kill the Minotaur, however, his son, Thaseus went. The drama reached its peak when King Minos’ daughter, Ariadne, fell in love with Theseus and went ahead to help him in the fight. She sneaked past the several guards and gave Theseus a sword and a long ball of string. Theseus entered the maze, eventually loosing the string. He came to the Minotaur’s lair and had a ferocious and terrible battle with the monstrous Minotaur. He won the battle and the Minotaur died. Later, he found his way out the terrible maze by following the string trail (Connor 132). The above interesting Greek myth served as a motivation towards my desire to know more about the artwork related to it, hence the choice. Besides the narrative behind the artwork, the efficiency and the expertness of the creator of the artwork also played a big role as a factor that influenced my decision to choose this particular artwork a lot. The artist has used expressive lines in the creation of the photo. This is because the picture portrays, in a detailed manner, the intention, or the target of the artist who created it.
